Cale Case has extensive experience in public services economic and regulatory consulting, both in the United States and abroad, specializing in telecommunications, electric and gas utilities, and energy and environmental resources.
Having served in the Policy Analysis & Research Division of the Illinois Commerce Commission in positions of increasing responsibility, Dr. Case continued his successful career with Coopers & Lybrand Consulting, specializing in telecommunications, electric and gas utilities, and energy and environmental resources. Among his most important international clients are: the Swedish National Energy Administration, the Bahamas Public Utility Commission, CAVEINEL-Electric Industry Organization of Venezuela, the Commission of the European Communities, the Energy Regulatory Commission of Mexico, the Public Services Regulatory Agency of Panama, CONATEL-National Telecommunications Commission of Venezuela, the Government of Egypt, and SIRESE - the Sector Regulatory System of the Government of Bolivia. Most of these engagements have been financed by international donor agencies like USAID, the World Bank, IADB and others.
His domestic and private sector clients include: Ameritech Illinois, AT&T, Central Illinois Light Company, New York State Thruway Authority, Indiana Bell, Iowa-Illinois Gas and Electric Company, Javier Farms, Maryland Transportation Authority, Merrimac Corporation, Michigan Bell, Central Illinois Public Service Company and many more.
Dr. Case obtained his BA and PhD degrees in Economics at the University of Wyoming. He is an active member of a number of community organizations and has served in the Legislature of the State of Wyoming as a Representative from 1993 to 1999. He has been a State Senator since 2000.
