SEGURA – New Partnership with USAID’s Power Africa Initiative

SEGURA Consulting is pleased to announce that it has been selected as a prime contractor for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) Power Africa Expansion IDIQ. This contractual vehicle is a five-year, multi-holder contract with a $900 million ceiling, seeks to increase the number of people with access to power across sub-Saharan Africa.

Launched in 2013, the Power Africa initiative brings together technical and legal experts, the private sector, and governments around the world to increase the number of people in sub-Saharan Africa with access to power. Its overarching goal is to enable electricity access by adding 60 million new electricity connections and 30,000MW of new and cleaner power generation by 2030. Since its inception, Power Africa has facilitated the financial close of 80 power transactions valued at more than $14.5 billion.
