IT Mark/CMMI

RCI encourages the implementation of Quality Models through its support of local software companies toward the IT Mark and Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) implementation and certification, which enhances the competitiveness of the companies, the sector in the countries and the region itself. The activity also assists companies to win more projects with global companies and eGovernment tenders.

CMMI, Capability Maturity Model and Carnegie Mellon are registered in the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office by Carnegie Mellon University

IT Mark is a certification developed European Software Institute.

ICT Excellence and Innovation Centers

After the successful model of establishing a MIC in Croatia (subsequently in Slovenia, Romania and Bulgaria), RCI supports the analysis, feasibility study, strategic planning and start up of such centers in the RCI regions.

IT Community of Practice / B2B

Building from the numerous IT companies that participated in our ITMark / CMMI activities, RCI will create a network of quality IT companies to promote collaboration and partnerships in joint tender bids, product development and sharing of best practices on quality standards and opening new markets.  The IT Community of Practice would be between countries in one region (such as South East Europe), but also cross-regional, between South East Europe, Central and Eastern Europe and the Caucasus.

Regional IT Information Sharing

RCI constantly tries to increase the information sharing and enhances the regional dialogue in order to assist and add value to the regional agribusiness projects and their activities

IT in Other Economic Sectors

RCI introduces and promotes the use of new technologies and innovations from the region, in order to enhance the competitiveness of the companies, countries and the regions.

Past Regional IT Meetings

RCI has organized numerous regional IT events, bringing IT leaders from the private and public sectors.  The events always brought forth the most current challenges the sector has in the regions and potential solutions and best practices that are available in the different countries.  One of the valuable aspects of the events is networking, where companies and associations have come together and developed projects and partnerships. In our IT focused events, we have had 365 participants from 169 companies, from over 15 countries.
