SEGURA has deep experience at the national, regional, and municipal levels working directly with public officials to improve government performance and accountability. A critical component of this assistance has been to build the capacity of ministries and departments to improve transparency, budgeting, organizational management, accounting, and procurement procedures. In addition, SEGURA has worked extensively at the municipal level to facilitate economic development through improved infrastructure and local ownership of civil works.
